“13.3% is an exasperated reply to those who say: ‘there are no women making architecture.’”
Having just discovered Delaine Isaac’s upcoming TV show, “Great Spaces”, I was excited to find another article on his tumblr about women in architecture. It is a great compliment to an earlier post I wrote about how women practicing architecture (or any other profession) should market their innate qualities as strengths in the workplace. Take a look at the article and check out Delaine’s new show coming out this fall!
First off, Howdy to all my new followers! I recently created a new website called architangent and it contains my bio, portfolio and blog. The posts stream here, so you have the option of subscribing directly to the architangent blog or finding my posts in the tumblr feed.
Today’s post is all about women in architecture.
In the next few weeks, I’ll be doing more ‘architects like’ posts and a few architravels location features. I’ll also write up a post on how to make the most of your first year as an architecture student, since I have been getting a lot of questions regarding that.
Thanks for reading, and be sure to check out today’s post!
